Why not help to support our animals and birds by adopting one or more of them?

Animal Adoption at Murton Trust, Forfar

Adoptions run for one year. You will receive an adoption pack which includes your certificate of adoption, a photograph and information sheet about your animal and one free family ticket voucher. Your name will be added to the animal's pen information board and you will also receive a key ring and personalised mug with your name and picture of your animal.

Your animal will send you a Christmas card and when you come to visit you will receive a photo taken with him or her. This must be arranged with us prior to your visit.

(Please note that the animals and birds remain the property of Murton Farm.)

Animal Sponsorship

An alternative way to support us is to sponsor one or more of our animals.

For just £12.50 per animal per year you will receive a photograph and information sheet about your animal and your name will be added to our sponsorship board at the entrance to the farm. You will also receive a key ring with a picture of your animal on it.

When you visit the farm you will have the chance to get up close and personal with you animal. This must be arranged with staff prior to your visit.

Where to Find Us

Murton Trust is situated on the A932 about 2.5 miles east of Forfar on the road to Arbroath.


JP Coaches now have a bus service that stops in our car park.

The route number is 117 and the details can be found on the Angus Council website. Our bus route is on page 14 of the timetable.
